I taught junior college math at Central Arizona College, which is right outside of Coolidge, Arizona, for eight years, then sociology in Tucson at Pima Community College for a little over three years.

My masters degree is from the University of Michigan, 1999, and my undergraduate degree is from the University of Arizona, 1994.

I've made a couple of videos reflecting on the years I spent teaching math:

If you're looking for a math or writing tutor, email me with some examples of the type of questions that are giving you trouble. If I can help, we will set up a time to meet on Zoom. If I have a scheduling conflict, I will email you info about other tutoring resources.

FYI for math students, I double-check that students can write out the multiplication tables through 10 in under three minutes. You would not believe how much this helps in studying algebra!  :)
