Central Arizona College's Creative Arts Department's Mass Final Project Spring 2017

I love the combined Creative Arts final projects at the end of the school year!:) This year beat any one I had ever seen. I arrived early, stayed late, and still missed stuff. The theme was A Night at the Oscars. I got the feeling that this was probably a whole lot better than being at the real Oscars. I ended up talking to the Captain Jack Sparrow character about the ceramic portrait of Johnny Depp that paid tribute to many of the different roles he had played. Also, there were SEVEN French Horns in the orchestra. SEVEN! :)
The amuse bouche were delicious.I loved the marinade on the veggie skewers.
I hope the orchestral recording by the EIT department is somehow available to the public -- meaning available to me -- later. Mario did a great job with the visuals during the performance. Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz got to sing in costume in front of a full wind orchestra.
The photography classes photos with the character impersonators will be available on Facebook in a couple of weeks.

Photos of the sound board, lighting, and of course the orchestra. -- It was a packed house. -- Great party! It ran around four hours.
